Privacy policy

1. What we collect
Identifiers: your email and the name or nickname you choose (and your profile photo if you sign in with Google). Content you create: the practice conversations in the simulator, the Ring and the coach, the texts you analyze and the conversations you paste into the copilot. Usage data: your progress (scores, XP, streak, league), the pages you visit and basic device information. If you take the quiz, your email and result. If you turn on notifications, your device's push address. Payment details are collected by our payment processor, not by us. Screenshots you upload to the analyzer are read on your own device: we only receive the text you choose to analyze.
2. How we use it
To run the Service (generate replies, score your answers, keep your progress and streak), to send you the emails and notifications you signed up for, to prevent abuse, and to improve the product. We don't use your conversations to build advertising profiles.
3. Sensitive information
Your conversations may reveal information about your dating and love life. We treat it as sensitive: we use it only to provide the Service, we store it securely, and we never sell it or use it for advertising.
4. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete it yourself at any time from Your account → Delete my account and my data: your account, conversations, analyses, progress, notifications and quiz result are deleted immediately, and any active subscription is canceled. Our database provider's backups may keep that data for a few more days, until they rotate. Our payment processor keeps payment records as required by law.
5. Security
We use encryption in transit and database-level access controls. No system is perfect, but we apply industry-standard practices to protect your information.
6. Service providers
We share data only with the providers that run the Service for us, under contracts that limit its use: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting and anonymous analytics), OpenAI and DeepSeek (artificial intelligence that generates replies and analyses: the text of your conversations is sent to them for that purpose), Lemon Squeezy (payments and taxes, as merchant of record) and Resend (email). Some of these providers process data outside the United States.
7. No sale or sharing of personal information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law and similar state laws. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on your state (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and others), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it and to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising (which we don't do). You can delete your account yourself from the app, and you can make any other request by emailing hola@escueladeshittest.com. We will verify your request through your account email and respond within the time required by law. You can use an authorized agent, and you can appeal a decision by replying to our response. We won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9. Children
The Service is only for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
10. Emails and notifications
Every marketing or reminder email includes a link to unsubscribe, and you can turn off notifications in your device settings or in the app at any time.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
